Anchient Language

The ancient Sanori language also has pronunciations much like English. The words are very short and easily put together, which make many historians think the language was mainly for naming things; whether that be new kings, magic spells, or mighty dragons. Many words remained uncovered still, but as the historians look further, more will come up.

Long ago, the language was sealed into the minds of small drakes and dragons so it would never be forgotten. Every new dragon born now carried with it a few new words. Coming from small dragons, the pronunciations are slightly more breathy than normal, some even sound like hisses. But the elven historians believe isn't how the language was intended. Instead, they are said with crisp, precise sounds, as not to confuse them with another word.

When naming a creature, person or spell, the words are formed together for easier writing. So if, say, something's name was Shadow Warrior, it would look like this: Cilio, where Cil is shadow, and Io is warrior. It makes for easy saying too, but often times people can cunfuse the words.
