You walk into a large, slightly closed in section of the large gardens. Tiny purple and blue flowers dance gently in the passing breeze, letting their sweet perfume flow delicately around you. As you walk forward into this place, you begin to notice the sudden darkness meeting you. You look around curiously, wondering what could cause sudden nightfall in this bright and beautiful garden. Trees of varying height crowd together, their canopy blanketing the entire forest. That must be why, you think to yourself. Your heart skips a beat when you hear a loud and sudden crash of branches, and you whirl yourself toward the sound. A large cat-like gryphon stares toward you, smiling playfully.

"Hello," it calls to you through it's bright blue beak, "What brings you to this forest? Are you a traveller? Gaurdian? Or are you lost?" it grins. You shake your head, telling it that you are just a traveller. "I see. Well, we don't get too many of those in these parts anyore. Mayhaps they don't like the darkness," it grins again, it's red eyes flashing, "It seemed to scare you too."

You mumble an excuse, that the creature caught you by surprise, that's all. He laughs a distinctive birdlike laugh and begins walking back into the trees. "My name is Hruwi, which means Magic in the old Sanori Language. I found my way here to the Gardens some time ago and decided to settle here because I like the darkness. It calms my nerves and settles my soul, this darkness. I like it very much," he smiles at you, continuing walking. You see another flash of red within the darkness, and reach forward to take a closer look. Bright white teeth emerge in a grin, and a magenta creature with very long legs creeps out of the underbrush.

"And this," says Hruwi, "Is Warrior Mouvdi. Don't let her scare you though; she's as tame as a house cat," he laughs, stepping out of the way as the large cat-like creature bats at him with a hooved foot.

"He likes to think I am anyway," she tells you, settling herself down next to the underbrush she was hiding in. "But I try to keep myself under control around him here. You see, we're looking after a little creature we found not long ago. It's said to be a creature called a Duv, one that is very gentle and playful, and very lovable," she tells you, smiling in a feline way. Stretching out her wings, she motions for you to come forward. As you do, she pulls back the thick brush, revealing a fluffy little fuzzball to you.

"Isn't it darling?" she whispers, wrapping her long, feathery wings around it. The tiny thing sqweaks lovingly to her, and she giggles. You smile at the tender gesture made by the large and fiece looking creature. "We don't know what it will look like. But whatever it looks like, we'll love and take care of it as our own. Won't we, feather head?"

"Did you just call me feather head?" Hruwi asks strongly, but not too loudly. He glares at her a moment, and when she doesn't return his look, he chuckles softly to himself. "I suppose you're wanting to leave about now, huh traveler? It is getting late," he tells you, guiding you back through the many trees. You smile a thanks to him and watch as he effortlessly disappears back into the darkness where he came. Sighing softly, you turn back and head out of the large foresty garden.
