Darkness fills your vision as you enter the quiet garden section, covered by long winding vines that are speckled with soft white flowers. You push past a clustering of the beautiful vines and let your eyes adjust to the sudden darkness. As your vision begins to clear, you make out a leafy, tree filled area unlike any you've been to before. Ancient looking trees tower far above your head, draped beautifully in delicate moonflowers. You look up, and see why this place is so dark. A thick canopy of vines and leavs blocks out any sliver of sun trying to get in, leaving a dull greenish light on everything.

You continue walking carefully, as not to run into anything. As you walk on, tiny forest sounds reach your ears and make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You begin to feel very uncomfortable in this garden forest, and turn around to leave quickly. Shimmering orange eyes meet yours as you face the exit, dancing at your startledness. Backling up a little, you run into a tree. "Don't be afraid." it says in a voice full of amusement. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just thought I'd introduce myself." it continues, stepping away from the exit light so you can see it better. A small.. cat? horse? cathorse? you think to yourself. It's dark blue fur with violet pink stripes waves as the creature walks closer to you.

It smiles up at you with feline grace and trots back around you, deeper into the forst. "Isn't this place great? Dark and quiet and full of mystery. Don't you just want to follow the trees back to where ever they lead you?" he says, smiling, "I know I do. My name's Cilosh by the way. It means Shadow Laughter, incase you don't speak Sanori. I'm a Mequis from the Everrealm, far, far away from here. I bet you're wondering how I got here, aren't you?" he says in a sly tone of voice. Unsure of what else to say, you answer that you are, hoping to hear what he has to say.

"Well," he begins, still grinning his mysterious feline grin, "One day, while I was exploring a small patch of trees, I found myself in a strange forest that never knew the light of day. I was a little surious, but I knew I'd better ask someone about it first. As I turned to leave, a giant earth toned dragon that somehow snuck up behind me roared so loudly and mightily that I thought I was going to jump out of my fur. After a long time of just staring, I asked him why he was there. He told me he was there to answer my questions."

"'Questions?' I asked the big dragon. I was a little scared, and a lot nervous, but I was still curious about the forest. 'Yes,' he answered. He told me... that the earth is like a person. It has knows beauty and ugliness, it makes mistakes and strives for perfection. And it has secrets. This is one of it's secrets. Here, you can learn the secrets of the earth and the forests. But only the truely brave and true of heart could ever find them." he smiles and stops to let that all sink in.

"I decided to continue on into the forest. I strive for knowledge and truth, and I knew this is how I could obtain it. As I went deeper in, I knew I'd gotten lost. I didn't care, because I could feel magic all around me, and I knew it didn't amtter which way I went. Finally, after hours.. maybe days of walking, I came to a point where the magic had created a sort of wall or barrier. I knew somehow, without thinking or considering it, that I needed to find the secrets if I wanted to break through. I felt the barrier with my paws and let my mind go. As I reached for the earth's hidden knowledge, I felt the barrier break away and I fell in."

"To make a very long story short, after I found what Hidden here, the barrier broke and created a portal. Well, many portals. There were so many portals I couldn't count them all before I fell into this one. It led to this garden here in Sanori. I managed to find my way out of this forest and wondered the gardens for a long time until Littlesapphire found me half starved near the garden maze. She fed me and I told her about this forest and all it had in it. She told me I coudl stay here if I promised to guard it. Can you imagine that? Me? A creature guardian?" he chuckles and jumps unto a thick, low hanging branch.

You yawn and look toward the exit. "Oh, by the stars, I've talked an awful long time, haven't I? I didn't mean to keep you traveler, but I really love telling my story." he continues, smiling. "I guess you'd better go now before you go blind from the dark. I'm half feline, you know, so I can see in the dark." he grins. You smile back and tell him good bye, turning to leave. Before you go, you turn back and ask him what the secret was that he found. "Well then, traveler, that's something you'll just have to find out yourself." he answers and disappears back into the darkness.
